My passion in life is walking with people towards freedom, breakthrough, and positive emotional health. I see counseling as a collaborative and empowering process where the client and counselor work together towards wellness. I am committed to facilitating a therapeutic environment filled with empathy and respect for all clients, valuing diversity of beliefs, culture, and ways of life.

With a background in pastoral ministry, I have worked with individuals and groups dealing with depression, anxiety, disordered eating, post-traumatic stress and relational issues. My therapeutic approach involves techniques from a range of theories including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness. I also place value in asking clients to engage in activities outside of sessions that help steward progress and health.

I am currently completing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. I am an member of the American Counseling Association. I am supervised by Dr. Bart Fowler, M.A., Psy.D., a licensed psychologist in Washington (PY60153263).

I look forward to talking with you and helping you on your journey toward wellness. You may reach me at 360-891-2000 x110.
