I received a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox Seminary in 1997 and have been working with children, families and couples for the past 25 years. As a counselor, I am passionate about nurturing healthy marriages and relationships. I believe God uniquely gifts each person. It is from these individual giftings that I desire to encourage others to grow and strive to become the person God wants them to be. I’ve been married for nearly 35 years and have raised three children. I love my role as a husband and father and believe I have a personal calling to be a therapist.

I use motivational interviewing and solution focused techniques to encourage people to overcome relationship and personal struggles. I have extensive experience with cognitive-behavioral techniques, attachment theory, abuse, trauma, addictions and anger management theory.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington (LH00009607). I specialize in marriage and family therapy working with couples, but am also trained as an adolescent therapist. I have worked extensively with adolescents, adult men, women, couples and families. I abide by Washington State law and ethics pertaining to counselors, American Counseling Association ethics and American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy ethics.
