Well-being and wholeness come through living an integrated life in body, mind, soul and spirit. I have over 10 years of experience helping people work toward mental, emotional and relational health by offering compassion and working collaboratively to help individuals discover and use their own personal strengths, skills and resources to help cope with the problems they are experiencing in life.

I am committed to offering empathic rapport, evidenced based approaches, and meeting each individual right where they are. This includes integrating each individual's personal, spiritual, and cultural perspectives and experiences, at their request. I work with older kids, teens, young adults, and individual adults, seeking solutions for a variety of concerns including: depression, anxiety, stress management, trauma, communication, and relationships. I have received additional training in expressive therapies including play therapy and sand tray therapy.

I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. I previously received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and am a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC). I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State (LH60768021).

In addition to being a licensed mental health counselor, I am also the Executive Director of Charis Counseling. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including hiking and camping with my husband of over 15 years, our three children, and our Australian shepherd.

I am passionate about helping you set goals and find solutions for whatever problems you may be experiencing in life right now. I look forward to the possibility of meeting you, hearing about your passions, and working with you to discover your own set of strengths, skills and resources needed to achieve a healthy, whole life!
